thought it was 1st of april?

no worries, all ive done is take it out of the box

Phew! You had me worried for a while there. :smiling2:

We've only modified the Cosford GB this year 'cos the show is cancelled, but we're trying to stick as close as we can to the original idea.

so heres mine......

Blimey - I thought mine was small !!!! :flushed: ;):smiling:
and this thing even has decals at that scale??

Should be a good one. Look forward to seeing you knock it to shape.

Paul.
:smiling:

No good me even watching I'd never see what you were doing Paul. Hopefully you will do large photos :smiling:Good luck

state of play.....

its painted and glossed ready for decals then a matt coat

the box/instructions are a bit useless so ive been using some photos and instructions for other brands kits to get for the paint call out.........the brown is supposed to be mid stone.....as in RAF mid stone....but my bottle of vallejo ran out but i had some hataka which ive never been keen on and it seems to be a bit too yellow, hoping it will tine down when the matt coat goes on

i manage to spray the undersides and the base 'stone' but had to brush paint the green.

Didn’t take long, but im not an aircraft guy

Remind me never to do anything else in this scale*

Didn’t quite go according to plan, the brown has come out a little too yellow, should be a little more ‘sandy’ but its what the call out said so hey ho but it was a fun quick build

*im not a boat guy but did I tell you about this ship in 1/144 I got

Is that the Eduard one ? If so don’t forget to put some weight in the nose or it will be a tail sitter ( ask me how I know !:rolling:) , or is it the Trumpeter one with the Kettenkraftrad ?

Paul,
Nice little chopper there :thumb2: :thumb2::thumb2:.
Didn't realize it was so small - 'till you put that bucket of Tamiya paint next to it!!

Paul.
:smiling:

Paul. I can see it better with the paint on, and not bad either :thumb2:
