My 4 day old Aldi dremil has failed( yes you get what you pay for).Just asking what models you folk get on with,i'm looking to spend £40 ish.
Thanks

real depends on whet your using it for, over hear we can get cheap ones between $40,00 to $60,00 aud do in ponds half that amount ,for
a cordless one which are quite good, and lite to use and hold,so that helps,

I’ve had a Minicraft one for about thirty years, but have hardly ever used it, and then only for grinding and cutting metal stock. Personally I find a good pin vice and drill set is much more useful for plastic.

I multitask in that i need to cut metal parts too.

I use this one... only because I work for the company... multiple places selling for less than £30...

Ive come across that brand before, where are they made?

To my knowledge, as with a lot of tools they are constructed in China, India but they are sold on ebay, amazon, screwfix, toolstation.
Where I work at toolstream they are a b2b company.
GMC is superior over silverline!

I have one of THESE. Excellent. The speed is adjustable from very slow which is a bonus.
