Richard (rtfoe) IN HOSPITAL

I had Kobe beef when I visited Japan.....it’s fantastic! I think the cows are fed on Beer and molasses which enhances the really deep flavour.....as Neil says....Go for it, you know it makes sense!

That's right...Kobe is where they come from...had it once at a wedding, we had a choice of it and trout and I bet you everyone decided on the wagyu.

Cheers,
Richard

Kobe beef is wonderful. The cows are massaged with rice wine apparently. You can eat thin slices of it raw, with soy sauce and wasabe. Heavenly!

Now I'm drooling again Bob! Clarke's pies, mmmmm! I see they've sold out to a Bristol company now.
Pete

Have they, they had a shop in Bristol? Been to the bakery many a time, yyuummyy

Oooh meat pies are my other favorite. Tried every homemade ones at every stop over on the way to Bilpins in Aussie Land. Will have to try Clarks if I get a chance to travel to Blighty.
My Dads favorite is steak & kidney which he used to get from NAAFI in the good old days.

Cheers,
Richard

It's not very fatty Richard, the fat is distributed throughout the meat.
Pete
Ya, they're hidden in between the meat and not one solid mass. But I'm not going to worry about it...I've had Indian mutton curries loaded with fat and pulled through. :smiling6:

Cheers,
Richard
