Right finished the grey bits, not 100% happy with my brush skills ( thanks again to young Ron ) cannot get the thinning right every time :sad: bit patchy in places by ok, lot to learn
Superstruture is still loose.
Next is either the boot topping and ships boats lower bitsp or the deck??
Painted AA guns in plain black, not far off

Thanks Tim, think the grey is to dark. Its far from perfect, not helped by a awful kit, well thats my excuse lol
Doesn’t look too dark to me Bob. Perhaps a dry brush or edge highlighting stage to bring out the various shapes will help?
Just one of the problems we have to cope with as we get older. Perhaps those "Step One" undies might help :smiling: :hungry::rolling::smiling5:

Grey looks good to me Bob, one thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of so called light greys appear quite dark. I’ve been testing a few I have to decide what to use.

Hey Bob, it looks like HMS Nelson, so what more do you want? It’s also making you dip your toe in uncharted waters, so that’s no bad thing either. You have also rekindled my interest in big gun ships, so I salute you.
