Latest Acquisitions (2021)

Hi all

So this popped up somewhere as a recommended read. Had a look at the reviews and thought 'Why not?'. What I know about British WW2 artillery might actually just about fill the back of a post card but not much more. A quick flick through looks promising and I suspect I'll need to read it through a couple of times to get the most out of it.

ATB.

Been eying this one up for a while!View attachment 420894
Mark,
Shall be interested to see the development of this. I love wreckers and have been eyeing IBG for a while; I'm always reluctant to invest in an expensive, unknown manufacturer. If your reports are good this may well be my first-ever British vehicle!

I built this kit not long ago. The reports say the cab isn't quite right but as I'm not worried about these things it was ok. With a bit of work it builds into a nice kit. Look on my build blogs if they help. Have fun with the build.

Got this one coming in the post... think I might be a little bit more adventurous than the last one I built, crack open the doors and get the interior aired :smiling::cool:

Collected this today and it was cheap enough.

I just love those old rally cars, and it's a Tamiya kit so should be a trouble free build.

Happy birthday Peter.
I hope you will share the Walrus build on the forum. I remember seeing a great model of one on water.

The Studebaker for the future Russian dio, and the schwimmwagen (didn't realize that the schwimmwagen came with all 3 figures and the bike shown! :surprised: ) to fill the hole left by dropping the half-track out of the current dio
Thanks 'admin' John :thumb2:
