Why spend out on containers when these are prefect, proper recycling :smiling3::nerd:.

Might be slate. Cut up heavy foil should work.:smiling:Be like your favorite tracks.:smiling2:

Mmm the thought is enough Paul.:smiling3: Decided corrugated sheet would have been the choice for an industrial type building.

The second picture took me back to my days of putting up barge boards and soffits, felt and battening roofs. Superb work to scale. A real joy to see Mr Race.

Thanks Steve, glad you like it.

John,
That building is the nuts mate.
Thank you Paul, coming from a fellow diorama builder that means a lot. Brown paper envelope is on its way.:smiling3:

Hi all been slowly doing the guttering, tried the brkts on the down pipes first in some old PE straight bits, were just the right width bot trying to stick them and keep tight proved a no no.

In the end after having to remove them I resorted to pewter, some what easier , but still fiddly trying to to slide them into place with the down pipe glued .

Still looks the part now, then I moved on to the corrugated sheeting, painted quire and few newly made sheets, think I have the colour right, didn't want the whole thing in rust .

Pre bent ready for the internal fire, going to wait until Rick returns form his journey as asked.:smiling3:

Slight staining to the lower wall and pavement, many Russian building allowed their water from the roof to go across the pavement. Also rubbed a pencil across the top of the drain cover.

Hi John

Hope you are well

Thats one hell of a building, very, very nice indeed, way beyond my skills ;)
Thank you Bob,. its about the only thing I feel confident in doing , the rest with builds is just luck :smiling3:

Hi John
That guttering is excellent. Love the damaged roof. All looking very realistic. Things like the water staining on the pavement - little details matter.

Thank Jim.:thumb2:

The building is looking good John, the guttering & damaged roof are very good, can't see how burning it will improve it, but prepared to see how!

John, that wriggly tin roof looks great and the rusty stain leading to the drain cover is just fab detailing.

Andy.
