Cruising around in my A9 CS

Looking good Paul, all the extra details make the difference, as you always do, cracking work.

Lovely detailing as always Scottie,(Dawg!!)
Obviously I shall be following along mate.... Always love a Dawg build :)
Andy

Paul,
The first time I saw this build it was just the box front, now having caught up I find the usual top drawer high standard from you. Will keep an eye on the build ready for when I manage to get my desert version on the go.
Mike.

Slowly plodding along. Turret hatches added. They seem a very complicated affair for what they are.

The antenna whip was removed from the base this will be replaced with wire later on and a wing nut was added.

Next the antenna tension spring was scratched from wire .

There’s a simple explanation for this: it’s a British tank :)

I remember having a conversation once with someone about the turret hatches of the Crusader cruiser tank. The Mks. I and II had a rearward-sliding/-pantographing affair while the Mk. III had simple side-opening hatch flaps. I remarked something along the lines of the former seeming to work quite well, so why did they replace it? To which the other person replied, “Remember that the catch keeping that hatch open was also British-engineered.”
