Lovely Lee, and good to see you building military again. Like the figures esp .

Tim. Thanks now comes the detail painting and weathering.

John. Thanks for stopping by again. I’m really wanting to finish this particular build so I’m slowly chipping away at it. I’m not happy with the gun barrel. I might try to change that out with a piece of brass tubing but I don’t know if my Eyes, Hands, and nerves can handle that kinda pressure. Lol.

If you drill out the end it will lift the barrel Lee. Failing that, just paint the end black….it will improve the appearance.

Thanks Tim but I was thinking of going a step farther and replacing the plastic barrel part with a piece of brass and drilling out the end and gluing it back on to the brass piece. If I don’t get the nerve think I will do it your way. Thanks

Looks good in the paint Lee, I really like the looks of these late war SWs tractors. Rick H.

Twisting the tip of a sharp, pointed knife blade in the flash hider will probably do the trick. Be sure to hold the flash hider firmly between your fingers so that the barrel can’t break, though.

Thanks Jakko I might drill a small hole with a pin vise first to get dead center

Hasegawa used to do several different versions back in the mid 70's (think that I did most of them!) - pity that I've no photos of them though - sure that there was a version like this, as well as the quad gun version

Tonight I finally painted the wheels and tracks gave it a light wash and glued it all together. I also drilled out the barrel the best I could I didn’t want to go to far and blow the end out. Finally making some progress on this.
