Only wish the drawings were not so dark, but excellent detail.
Got a bargain on ebay the other day, was looking for a specific FER bust and their 1/12th Aquilifer, Legio XX Valeria Victrix Britannia, AD 61 bust showed up, so a cheeky "buy it now offer" of £9.99 and it was mine, which is a massive saving on the retail price of £39.99!, Would have been rude not to have got it.

I took a few hours into Minehead and found a nice little model shop call Friday Street news so if any ever gets to there it's worth a look as I found this 1/72 concorde pretty much at its original price far cheaper than on eBay.

Been looking for one of these a lucky charity shop find. 
Talking to my brother ( just completed his first model for 57 years! ) he had bought several Rally Cars. I realised I'd never made a Rally car. So I did a bit of digging - all far too much! I eventually tracked down a retailer ( Signal Models - a train model retailer ) who sold me this:
Box is very tatty & held together with tape - but contents ate all in the factory sealed bag, the decals look good - £16 delivered! Result!

Dave you ought to collaborate with Mr. Race on that, he'll have flames shooting out of that lighting array in no time ! Kinda give it a DeathRace 2000 feel
Checked the contents - horror! 2 of the paints were missing, the paintbrush and the glue as well!! Oh, how can I ever replace them?? :tongue-out2:

I may not be doing a lot of modelling at the moment but i am planning and preparing for when I get back into the saddle. One plan is to make a jungle diorama so I just got these from fields of Glory:
They all look good, but got me wondering whether some plants for indoor aquariums may also be suitable. A quick search of the internet and there are some which look likely candidates but it is difficult to tell the size, so i think I may take a trip to my local shop next week to have a look At what they have in stock.
