Splashed out on a kit I’ve had my eye on for a while now, it arrived yesterday and boy is it a big box. Tamiya 1/32 F16 CJ with lots of extras too. Only had a quick look at the contents but it looks impressive. I popped the 1/48 box down with it.

Interesting Dave. Wonder how the Spitfire would do in the Schneider trophy ;)

Well, the Macchi M.C.72 still holds the record for the fastest piston engined seaplane, at 440 mph, set in 1934, so probably not that well!! :tongue-out2:

Still not modelling yet - the cast on my hand was dud to be removed last \friday, that was delayed until tomorrow, which has been changed to Wednesday. In the meantime my latest purchase is ...

300 4.5mm stainless steel ballbearings, and I am slowly putting one in each of my jars of acrylic paint.

Rick (minime) sold me this some time ago & I just opened it up. I think because he hates resin more than I & offered it to test my patience. It is a Trident offering & I didn't have high expectations, but it appeared to be better than any I'd seen. It looks very good. A turned gun barrel & a lot of PE. No box art but a contents & instruction sheet. Some breakage & molding gaps, but not too bad. Molded on tools, but removal should be easy. All in all not looking bad at all.

Better you than me....I just don't have the patience for resin kits, that is unless I'm really wanting to do a particular model. I hope you make a good job of this Paul.... I'll continue to hold out for one in plastic. ;) Rick H.

Not really models related but gets used a lot for keeping an eye on you lot.
Bought a Samsung tablet to replace my piece of :poop: iPad mini.

So I've been using MIG bottles, just found these......bit of a saving. See if they are any good when they arrive.
That's for 100 of them.

I've been using them for years. Great for keeping your own 'blend' of colours and washes in.

Some stock, 1 for portholes and the other my favourite glue but clear

Received these from SMS today. Now I just need to look for 1/48 F-16.
Excuse the mess, I really need to tidy up.

I'm still experimenting with different paints and manufacturers but i'm moving towards AK and Ammo. I just "get on" with how they spray.

Please , I need help , ive got to keep off ebay! Picked up this little lot as a job lot for £37 plus £20 postage . Added together theres probably upwards of £200 worth of kits :thumb2::smiling:. I only want to keep two , possibly three so the rest are going back on the bay , should get my money back and then some and three kits for free , bingo! I’m intending to keep the chinook , firefly and possibly fulmar . The Anson in particular is intriguing , some going for £90 +!CFD8C722-C9CF-484C-9572-D7785B7CA0A3.jpeg
