I have ordered a few items from jadlam in the past now that they have a big shop and I live close enough I came away with this one IMG_20220319_125910.jpg

Nice :)
I've bought from Jadlam many times, very impressed.
Would dearly like to visit their shop, but it's a bit too far for a special trip.

Just been back with my Mercedes and with a bit of cash on top I exchanged it for something far far better. IMG_20220321_122620.jpg

I had a half day off during my business trip in Tallinn today so took a trip to Atrioola model shop. The lady who runs it is very friendly and quite funny. She tried to persuade me to buy the Zvezda kits because they will not get any more for the foreseeable - no thanks.
So I got his instead. The kit includes etched brass and a bag or resin bits too.

I immediately got a dose of buyers regret when I returned to my hotel to discover the reason why there are so many women and children staying here - they are Ukrainian refugees. Reality check for Ricky.

Nice kit rick , but whats with the trumpeteresque mistake - FAIREY Skua ?!What I cant understand is that on the previous run boxing ( which uses the exact same box art) they got it right - Blackburn Skua . Good job the rest of their research is usually spot on , its a great kit by all accounts . Tony

Never noticed that. Maybe it will be a collectors item.

Never noticed that either. Mine says Blackburn Skua across the top of the box, not the bottom, so it is one of the older ones….

Trumpeter must have someone with the same difficulties doing the boxes - I have a 1/700 USS Yorktown - at least it says that on the box front = on the ends it calls it the USS Essex!

Regarding box art, I bought the new Airfix Mosquito as a gift and noticed the top and side box art were different.

Just got these

The Sopwith Camel is from my good friend Tony ( Yak Face ). Many thanks mate.
No probs Ian , the seat belts and masks look nice , should really make a difference. Nice Hind , are you going to get any aftermarket for it ? If you fancy doing something other than the kit decal option youre welcome to have the rest of the decal sheet after ive done mine ( I think theres hungarian , czech , polish , bulgarian , I nearly went for the czech ‘coastal command ‘ scheme but decided on the green grey allover one . )https://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/tonys-mini-hobby-1-48-mi-24-v-hind.38709/

A mate of mine gave me this - notice the colour variations on the Cherry Berets - don't get fixated on the 'proper' colour!

Nothing too exciting but the Hurricane and Corsair look like fun builds while the Merlin may be my entry for the helicopter GB if I clear some other builds in time.

No Kits, No Kits, Not Kits, BUT................

€7,99 for the tweezer set and €9,99 for the soldering set......Pretty cheap and you can never have enough tweezers when you have sausage fingers! Now I just have to find something to burn my fingers solder on........................
