discussion Cheaper color?

Hey guys. I am going to buy paint for my eduard tornado desert babe kit in 1:48 for the camo. And noticed that the paint was freaky expencive like when i shall buy two botles (c310 and c51) from mr color that cost 70$. so i was woundering if there was any alternativs to these two from some pther brands that has same color scalle. But also for these under here to so i can buy same color for cheaper price

MRP do a direct match and it will only be one bottle. MRP-185 RAF Desert Pink.

Vallejo Model Air. 71,400 Desert pink.
There are quite a few that make RAF desert pink or desert sand paint. I am sure that one of the many model hobby shops in Norway will have one you can use.

I think that is the LRDG desert pink rather than the later RAF one, the LRDG one was a bit pinker, the RAF one did tend to wash out to a sandier colour in the envioroment.

From my memory,
The Tornados looked more a "Pinky Orange" after they were out there for just a short space of time.
The LRDG kinda colour would be a bit ott if you want my opinion
I do have some pics of me stood next to them....but will only post up if you require it?!

Maybe. Just saw the UK desert pink and snagged it. but having said that, the photos I have seen of actual Desert RAF birds, no two have been the same colour.
