What exactly IS this?

Been thinking about this…….how do you actually put the shrink wrap on? The only way I can think is by putting it over the top of the nozzle, but that blocks the outlet surely?
You take the nozzle that you press off and put the shrink tube over the bit that comes out the top of the can.

I have tried this in the past and my biggest problem was trying to keep the paint from jumping out of the jar I was spraying it into........any thoughts on how to slow it down so it does not come back at you? I thought about looping the tube a couple of times to see if that might do it......not tried it yet.

A very gentle trigger finger Rick. It is a skill quickly learnt after the first couple of tries decanting rattle-can paint. LOL

On the Tamiya cans I've had the nozzle has a little sticky out bit (technical term). I attach the heat shrink to that.

Cheers Bob. A picture is indeed worth a thousand words. Like the anti splash guard on the bottle as well :thumb2:

Not my pic Tim, but will also be nicking the splash guard idea. :D
