Heard of those already…..…..they were a privately funded idea by Colonel Griptype-Thingg that never quite came off. As they were about to enter service the colonel looked down the barrel of the laser to see if it was working, got dazzled, and stumbled blindly into the shark tank. The project was abandoned at that point because funding had been cut off…..
