Wow Olderthanme, That's a nice haul!!! CSM figs are nicely cast as I have most of their 1/32 WWI German airplane figs. This stuff should keep you really busy for a while Mike. It's also great to see you're going to build things from the time period when you were a young lad!!!

Unless I’m going insane (a distinct possibility) it says WW3 on the box front…..
It’s a matter of a somewhat poor choice of typeface:

No doubt picked for its fin de siècle feel, but the upper-case I looks very much like a J, which is not a problem in text but is if you’re trying to do Roman numerals with it.

Lovely stuff Mike. Really interested to see how the CSM armoured car turns out. Never made one of their kits, but they really are tempting…..
The Roden must be a post apocalyptic subject though. Unless I’m going insane (a distinct possibility) it says WW3 on the box front…..
That's just in case our military get run down by the politicians to the point we have to ressurect the old stuff in the museums and collections..

When I was young they were still sending us down the chimneys and Oliver Twist was an old man.

Any day soon.... Gone are the days when you could see hundreds of our tanks around Salisbury Plain....
Don’t know about that, but I do know it’s safer driving around the plain at night these days. Army on exercise takes no notice whatever of other road users. Accidents were regularly reported in the local papers……the most noticeable I remember was a tank transporter damaging around sixteen cars at Chittern in Wiltshire on his was to a night exercise. When stopped by the police he swore blind it wasn’t him until they pointed out the remains of a Ford escort wing hung up on the rear of his vehicle…..

True, been there and done it, much to the annoyance of the locals.

Oh come on, be fair - I was driving through SPTA a week or two back and all three were out and running around!

OK, so I went a bit silly with the credit card....

The white box is the interior for the Lanchester...

Just had to get one... and the detail is superb...

As are the two figures - more will be ordered later.
Awesome, what code are the two figures to go with the bike

Sorry for the late reply Steve.
F35-002 and F35-008.
There are six other figures in the British range as well as these two. I only ordered 2 to check how good they are, other 6 now on order.

Correction, I was out on that day and it was one running and two under tow.
Yeah, well - they all appeared to be moving and there was an extra set of track marks - so maybe I did jump to a premature conclusion! Sorry :disappointed2:

Thanks,
Just ordered the 1/32 bike as I have a Tommys War figure which will go nice with this bike

Makes all that browsing worthwhile occasionally!

Inspired by the flats at Figure World North 2023, I purchased this from El Greco Miniatures. I don't know what scale it is - the panel is c. 15cms x 11cms. Great sculpting, but the finish leaves a little to be desired, with one or two tiny bubbles, and some unfortunate miscasting right in the eyes of one figure. Should be correctable. Painting it, however, is going to be quite a challenge!
