Keep an eye out for that two legged, feathered "fishing pole" what's always hanging around...... ;)
Rick ,that evil thing, he has landing ban at the moment , not seen him for a while , think the river is supplying his diet.

That's good news JR....there's a rumor going round that you have a back yard "restaurant" and are handing out free grub to your fine feathered friends......I guess that doesn't apply to your fish 'n chips on the go, Koi pond!! :tongue-out3: :tongue-out2::tongue-out:;);)

No Rick , seed and dried meal worm only on the menu , though buckshot and Herron sounds appealing :nerd:

Now assembling the riders , first is the tank commander. Once built I can see how he's going to fit in the turret and what is needed to hold him up .
The bike is going to be painted as one ! Then an attempt to paint the engine and tyres with brush .

Many years ago my grandfather was troubled by a heron using his goldfish pond as a takeaway. He bought a life sized heron statue as someone told him that a heron will not come down to feed when another heron is there. I can't remember if it worked but maybe worth researching.
I think painting the bike "as a single unit" is the best way to go. On something so small and delicate adding ready painted parts would be a nightmare. The detail painting will look fine even if not perfect.

Having bulked out the tank so the commander is the right height this morning I decided to show some photos of the bike as well .

Just don't ask how it is propelled !

Not as bad as I first thought.
The addition of the figures has hidden as lot of missing bits .
Thanks for the support and please comment.
John .

Yo...JR, you've got the brake and clutch levers the wrong way round!! :tongue-out3: :tongue-out2: :nerd::thumb2:

Looking OK John, after painting and a bit of muck it will be great, you may want to disguise the broken drive shaft though. Probably only a biker would notice. ;)

Thanks Andy, perhaps a leather bag may do it . Thinking it moved upwards when I stuffed the wheel in ! Not my best build

The figures look really natural John.
Who cares about motorbikes?
Cheers Neil, pleased with the pair of them , notice the different arms from the spares box .

Trust you to say that Neil.....how's yer three wheeler doing? ;)
That's cruel Rick ;) Still wondering about those handle bars !

My chickens love those as treats. I feed them every now and then.
Bet they do Lee. I've started to feed some to the fish, Mr Koi is very keen .To see his mouth wide open as he sucks in a many as he can at one pass is great .

Pay no attention to that Rick John he is just taking the p*** :smiling5: the levers are correct for a bike of that vintage.

Andy.
Thanks Andy, I'd even checked and doubled checked the instructions and drawings .Good job I didn't take them off then !

Hi John

Hope all is well? Just had a quick catch-up. Coming in very nicely despite the problems you had.

ATB.
