Never noticed before, but there's no access from the cabin to the cockpit. Hmm, so only intercom to warn the pilots you're on fire!
That’s not necessarily a bad thing!!!Never noticed before, but there's no access from the cabin to the cockpit. Hmm, so only intercom to warn the pilots you're on fire!
Thanks Tim, much obliged.Miraculous work on that canopy Richard. Superb!
Thanks again Ian.Once again, outstanding work Richard.
Mick, you'd be surprised how much you can get away with in smaller scale.I'm complaining about issues in 1/24 scale and you're doing this great work in tiny scale
Ditto answer too Jim.:smiling3:Ditto
Thank you Doug.Every bit of this build has just been outstanding. The improved cockpit - just another level entirely.
There is an access through the back of the co-pilots panel. Didn't bother to drill that out. That's why there's a bulge on the left for the passage way past the engine.Never noticed before, but there's no access from the cabin to the cockpit. Hmm, so only intercom to warn the pilots you're on fire!
Ya to keep your mind on flying and not panic.:tears-of-joy:That’s not necessarily a bad thing!!!
Sorry Richard ,I have been watching from a far literally (see what I did there)but the chaps always express it all any way ,with long builds like this I like to look at the pictures of the finished product then read the whole thing backwards for me anyway you get a much better understanding of what went into the final photos ,l know even the other halfs finally beginning to think I'm a bit damaged. Dave
Sorry for the late replies guys...was celebrating my birthday with an off moment of plastic modeling.
Thanks Andrea.:smiling3:Happy birthday Richard!
Wabble,
Come on, now your just showing off. Brilliant work mate.
Happy birthday for yesterday.
Thanks Guys.Sorry mate I missed that, Happy birthday for yesterday.

That's right Jim.Look good Richard. I suppose the wheels are more chunky because the two halves of the mold were slightly apart.

Yup, a feel good thing for the tummy too. Inevitably someone will creep to the counter and pay the bill. Can't beat sharing a meal for a good time.
Yeah, apparently its a WW2 model with the fuel cap under the drivers seat. Those built after the war had the fuel cap moved to the side near the spade handle.Ooh, a 1/1 scale jeep! Can't see any accuracy issues with that kit. Maybe a few build and fit problems tho...
Sure Steve, if you can recall food here is not expensive. Have you tried Bak Kut Teh before? There are a few versions, this one was served in a claypot with vege, mushrooms and fried tofu. We even had braised pigs trotters. There were side dishes for those who like spare parts. When I'm passing through can I indulge at your table Richard? I'm part of the Salivation Army at the thought! PS Who doesn't love large scale models?
Steve
