Trying to get hold of some Mr Color Levelling Thinner 400. Anyone know why there doesn't seem to be any available anywhere in the UK?

Please tell me it's not import restrictions 'cos it's flammable! If so, why don't they ban oil tankers and LPG container ships?

Yeah, I noticed that it seems to be out of stock in a lot of places. Not for the first time either. Same with all the Mr Surfacer primers....

The stock levels of Mr hobby products have been terrible for some time now. It's usually a chore when I need to replace products.

I'm not blaming John, it's all over the country not just his shop.

The UK distributor is out of stock, it’s going to be the end of May before we start seeing stock again.

other Mr Hobby products that have been out of stock for a while like SF2**, decal solution, GX paints will be in this week

This is very interesting, and may be a wide spread thing.
I am battling to find TET and Mig Extra thin cement here in NZ, and a check online indicates that supplies of Mr Hobby products like your levelling thinner are also very limited.

Hopefully, supply has been sketchy for a couple of years.

I can't even remember how many months I've had a notification subscription for when Mr Surfacer comes back into stock at John's.

I heard there was a change of distributor, maybe that's what has caused the cock up.

(again, I'm absolutely not having a go at Scale Model Shop, it seems to be further up the chain)

I've spoken to them this morning, it's now looking like June or even July, they can only work with the information they are given from Japan, it seems they are being given dates that keep changing

I ended up ordering some from abroad as I'm down to my last dregs. I feel like a traitor but needs must. Fingers crossed it's due in a few days.

Hopefully this will get sorted soon and I can get back to buying from the shop :smiling3:
