Very nice Colin :thumb2:,My reason for this was again nostalgic
As a young kid in Cyprus we saw these in the UN colours all over the place around 1970 give or take.
Fingers crossed :smiling:Very nice Colin :thumb2:,
I hope you manage to finish it!!:tears-of-joy:

Those figures are a tad modern to be putting into a Ferret, though. Or at least, I assume that’s the intentionAs a young kid in Cyprus we saw these in the UN colours all over the place around 1970 give or take.
Yes the camo is all wrong, but I got a pic of a group stood from about that time, and they were all in overalls and a UN beret. Those figures are a tad modern to be putting into a Ferret, though. Or at least, I assume that’s the intention :smiling3:

They look like black tankie overalls - too dark for OG overalls and some appear to be wearing blackened '37 pattern belts, they can't shape a beret (and the hair is too long by half!) - and what's more they're scruffy to boot!Yes the camo is all wrong, but I got a pic of a group stood from about that time, and they were all in overalls and a UN beret.
Those figures helmets don't have to go on, so I'm hoping I can bash berets for them.
And painting the overalls in the colour of the guys in the pic from that time , hopefully that will work. View attachment 507539
Another visit to jadlam I walked past the reduced bin and this jumped out into my hands
3 built '47-'50 - first production Martin-Baker ejection seats fitted to two. Not good enough performance over land based aircraft. CancelledA wild looking aircraft. Never heard of it. 50s?

Was the ruler from John?Scratch building supplies, mostly from John:
I'm running low on certain strips & rods so had a stock up and there's some mesh as I can never seem to find a suitable size.
The T ruler should help me to cut things square for a change, and also make my own strips in the future.
And some scribing tape. I've tried everything from masking to Dymo tape but cannot get on with any of them. A roll like this should last a lifetime so cheap in the long run.
That was from Ebay. "ultra precision marking ruler t-type" brings up plenty of options. Was the ruler from John?
