Well I am calling this done. I managed to get a bit of flat coat down yesterday and some photos today. So I am quitting while I'm ahead. The build is here: https://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/ian-ms-mk-iic-italeri-1-48.43176/
It built well and looks like a Hurricane so that was lucky.
Paint is Vallejo Model Air.
Hope you like it.

The underside is a bit naff paint wise but hey ho.
Thanks Peter for suggesting the GB and all those that took part.

Stunning Ian a real labour of love :)

A high quality model, Ian and that red nose tip is the cherry on the cake...

It seems I have a weak spot for those desert camouflage hurricanes. I see one and i love it. Fantastic job done Ian!

Great looking hurricane Ian , i do love the sand, dark earth ,azure blue scheme , and especially on a cannon armed mkII , cheers tony

Great work Ian, I see no naffness on the underside.

Thanks chaps, the desert camouflage is rather good on most RAF fighter unit. Never seen it on a heavy bomber though. Has any one seen one?

Thanks chaps. There has been some super builds under this GB. Surprised that mine is considered one of them. Maybe I will keep at it. lol.

Hurricane, cannons, desert cam, well made, well painted - what's not to like!

It’s well worth keeping Ian, the colour scheme and painting is spot on , as well as the weathering. I would have it I’m my cabinet.
