After a few days away to chill out and put recent events behind us I returned home to find my replacement entry to the GB had arrived. I’ve only ever built one other bike and that was in 1/35 scale. With this one me and my comfort zone are on different planets but it’s the only way to learn. At least looking at the painting it’s far easier to follow. Here are the sprue shots then hopefully make a start after I finish nights.

You will enjoy this......it builds up nicely and has no gremlins
Mick, count me in.
I will be following Mike. Iconic machine.
Nice one mick , looking forward to this , cheers Tony
My appetites been whet! We do like a Ducati.
Thanks gents for coming along, no pressure at all with such a distinguished audience forming

Chair pulled up :) Always wanted one of these but had to settle for an R1

That is not a 'bike' Bob. It is a Ducati. lol
One of the better badges of bike from Italy. Fast, smooth and curves in all the right places.
I am sure you will do it proud Mike. (not pressure. LOL).

Build is now underway. These two wheelie things are definitely paint as you go models. One strange thing I’ve already found, there is a chromed sprue but the first two parts off it aren’t chrome on the model and have to be painted? Here’s the start….

A tad late my friend, but with my new glasses, I should be able to see all your magic just fine...Any particular reason you have the putty on standby so early in the build??? Just wondering...
