IMHO it always pays to be clear about things like this: “I thinned it 2:1 water to paint”, for example. If there’s a standard you can expect people to know about, like in your case, then just sticking to that will avoid confusion, but when you’re dealing with people who may not know, better to say too much than not enough.
Know what you mean. I get this itch when people talk about a “Sherman Firefly” or an “Achilles Mk. II”
laying on the bottom. A quick rub and polish and a full body decal job and no one will ever Know.
