HI Iain well ive been building R/C big 1/72 scale warships for the last 30 to 40 yrs an built several ships an they all have sailed so i have a bit of know how on the subjeck firstly Iain yes i see you have bought a kit an i think its an all plastic kit isnt it ? so firstly what do you wish to know as will take it a bit at a time as i dont want to throw to much info at you an you get a bit over whelmed ok so you make a start at what you wish to know then we go from there ok an if you dont understand what im sayin is it ok for me to put on some of my boat pics to show you the units that you will need as they say a picture is worth a 1000 words ?

I suggest that you become a supporter. This costs just £10 per year and comes with a load of advantages. You will be able to post photos and you get a discount on anything you purchase from the Scale Model Shop. John, who owns the shop, also owns the forum. On your Schnellboat project you'll need all sorts of stuff so the discount may well equal or exceed the £10 supporters fee.
Start a build thread for your build. Show your progress and ask questions. I guarantee that you will only get polite, helpful responses. I know Chris will follow your efforts and come in with ideas gleaned from his many years experience.
