Hello all,
After many many years away, I have decided to take up the hobby where I left off. My last kit was the Matchbox 1/72 scale Flower-class corvette HMS Bluebell. Now, I've decided to do another build - Revell's HMCS Snowberry, but will be finished as HMS Bluebell. I've also bought the Great Little Ships photo-etch set. So, not only am I having to brush up on old skills, but learn some new ones. Looking forward to any help and advice I can get.

Hi and welcome. Both to the forum and back to the models!

K80. A nice little corvette that.

Welcome to the forum Paul. I'm sure you will enjoy your time here.

Thank you both.

Yes, K80 - that's another skill I have to learn; printing my own decals. The Revell release has everything the Matchbox original had, except the decals for HMS Bluebell. Its going to be a busy year or two!

Welcome to the flock Paul. Great place to be. If advice or help is needed, this is indeed the place to be.

Purely static, Chris. I've got one completed in a display case, one untouched kit recently found on Ebay, the complete Great Little Ships set of PE and white metal improvements, and another Revell kit coming minus the hull and decks. The latter has made me think about a rebuild of the one I have on display, with the GLS set, and then putting the brand new kit back on Ebay. We shall see - at present I'm rebuilding my tool kit. Hobbies.co down at Raveningham is doing very well out of me! :smiling6:

YOU certainly are Bob my freind an there is no need to do it the hard way so just get your ship kit an enjoy the build AN DID YOU GET THAT LETTER ?
