We lost our Lovely Lottie

Truly sorry for your loss Richard. That is a pain I know only too well. She really was a great looking lady. Don’t beat yourself up over it though, it was just her time, you did nothing wrong.
Thanks Tim.Think we all tend to say oh if i only did this or didnt go away she might be here still. She hated going in cat carrier. We tried not to let her get stressed because of her heart.

Sorry for your loss, a very painful experience for pet owners, we lost our dog two months ago and miss her being around every day. We could have been selfish and just let things develop with her illness but it wouldn't have been fair and we had to take the heart breaking decision to let her go.
Thanks Mick.My wifes friend Rachel had to let her lab go as she had tumour.Rips our hearts out.Trying to keep Lotties brother happy as hes now alone.
Rich

Can only sympathise with you and your partner ,once the pain is less the memories never fade there's never a day goes by in our house when one of our dearly beloved arnt mentioned and laughed about ,sad but we've got six little caskets at home plus special spots around the garden for various small furry. Dave

That's very sad indeed - so sorry for your loss. It's never easy losing a pet.

Thank you David.Little things make the tears flow constantly.Expecting to see her around my feet in Kitchen or following me into bathroom when i had a shave.I blame myself at times not appreciating her enough but she did get lots of cuddles and tickles.Sometimes they make you cross but still love them dearly.Rich

We still have Barnaby her brother.Hes not himself as hes never been parted from Lottie for long.Maybe in time he would accept a little friend.Lilley sounds lovely Chris,My wife used to live near a busy road in Ipswich and lost 2 cats on the road.We always give our little friends lots of attention and i was always anxious when they went in cattery. We were due to go to Cambridge in couple of weeks but just cant put Barnaby through being alone in cattery.Could never do that to him as they mean the world to us.We couldnt have Children so our cats are our fur babies always.
Lovely to hear from you.Warmest wishes to you both.

Thank you all for being so kind and sending lovely messages. It helps that so many care and have been through the same experience. The only thing that keeps us going is having Barnaby. He needs us more than ever and comes first.I promised Lottie id look after him always.Dont even like going out and leaving him for long.
Cant express how greatful we are to you all.
Lots of love to you all.

Richard sorry for your loss. We had a cat that acted like a dog I loved him a lot a deep hole was in my heart when he passed away. I buried him not far from the barn where I see his grave every day. Time will heal but not fully.

Sorry for your loss :disappointed:

Pets are family and its so hard when you lose one...ive hated it every time

Run free Lottie.....there will be plenty of friends across the rainbow bridge

Sorry for your loss Richard, had three die in my arms...very painful. It's just as hard having to euthanise also.

Sure Richard. We had to have our Russian blue Lara put to sleep after a stroke.I held her and glad i held her to me knowing i was there with her.

I’ve held my last two as they passed. It’s very hard, but I saw it as the last good thing I could do for them.
