    21st century toys Macchi mc205 Veltro 1/32

Heres the 21st century toys Macchi mc205 Veltro in 1/32 scale , a kit ive done before but wanted to do again as its such a brilliant looking aircraft. It was originally designed to be sold already assembled and screws and clips together . It can still be assembled like a normal kit but theres...

    Latest Acquisitions (2026)

Absolutely Neil , we’re supposed to be hard to buy for but if someone got me a kit for christmas or birthday , no matter how small or cheap I’d be well happy . Instead we get stuff that were not bothered about ( socks , foul smelling gift sets , a rubbish bottle of wine etc )

A first for me - a motorbike ! Always admired the bikes ive seen on here so finally gave in and got myself this . Its the old 1/9 scale ESCI tooling in an Italeri boxing but its still a lovely looking kit .

WW2 SAS soldier with machine gun 1/10 bust

Cheers paul , Yes I thought sand goggles would be more likely but I suppose a SAS soldier getting hold of a pair of Ray bans is more plausible than having a pet , sandwich eating monkey!

WW2 SAS soldier with machine gun 1/10 bust

Cheers john , yes I seem to remember people heating resin up with boiling water to make it a bit more pliable , definitely not a naked flame , I think its quite flammable stuff . If this fails I’ll have to say its a top secret SAS weapon for shooting round corners 😆

WW2 SAS soldier with machine gun 1/10 bust

Yes jim luckily the monkey is separate , just a square hole to fill and his tail to sand off , which I did yesterday and its come out ok So , anyone want a 1/10 scale monkey eating a sandwich ?

WW2 SAS soldier with machine gun 1/10 bust

Thanks joe , yes I did a bit of research and saw that they could be correct . I’m actually relieved as trying to alter the shape or removing them altogether would have been very difficult and in this scale it has to be spot on . I also read that sunglasses were frowned on in certain cases - the...

WW2 SAS soldier with machine gun 1/10 bust

Here we go with another first for me , a large scale bust. I got this cheap on the net , since finding out its a Young miniatures sculpt . Its very nicely done although I’m going to delete the monkey on his shoulder and the eighties style Ray bans on his head will have to be altered to be more...

    Papa695s Zvezda 1/48 SU-25 Frogfoot

Coming along now Ian . Good idea to leave the front panel off , these are notorious tail sitters due to the main wheels being quite far forward . When I built the old Monogram su25 years ago I had to add a lot of lead , but dont forget once the multitude of stores are fitted that can add a bit...

    Joe's Trumpeter 1/72 Mig-29C Fulcrum

Fantastic build joe , really makes me want to do one of these . The fiddly attachment of stores is a common problem that no makers have ever really solved . You think that someone would have come up with a better system than the current tiny contact point ? Ive often been frustrated at the end...
