    The parts are transluscent, Joe, but there is a brown residue from the "chroming" process that the oven cleaner cannot remove and it looks like they have been stained with tea! I could have scratched it off but decided that will be a waste of time. Dave

    To paint or not to paint

    Your models, your choice and if you enjoy making models without painting them, then why not? A few years ago I made a Matchbox 1/72 Messerschmitt 410 (PK-113) out of the box without using paint, putty or any aftermarket stuff (except for a piece of brass rod to replace a lost pitot tube). Dave

    Airfix 1/24 MGB (07401)

    Thanks. Some people are saying the ride height is just right and others are saying it is too high! This is a rebox of the Aoshima kit and comes with the rubber bumper as well. However, there are no alternative suspension settings and I wasn't going to try to fix it. Dave
