As members are showing their tidy benches, I thought I'd show mine, in an untidy state. This as tidy as it gets while I'm working.

Got to be said John….how in earth dies that spray booth actually pull any air in. The filter is basically paint……it needs a wash in the sink.

Your right Tim, the filter it's self is a lot lighter when new ! Had it from Andy years ago , I hasten to add it's been changed several times since then.
Will give it a wash and report back !

Following Tim's observation, the filter has been replaced. The old one has been washed and came out well, now drying on the line.

Looks good bud. Just wondering though……..if that’s the chair you are using while working it could be a cause of your back issues?

You know I think you right it's a little low making me stand for most jobs

Takes a lot to beat a decent office chair with good lumbar support and wheels. You can adjust the height to suit the job as well.

I live in a small stone cottage that is 260 years old. As you can imagine, space is at a premium but as I live on my own, I was able to turn the second bedroom into a modelling den.

This is my main modelling bench with my current build, an Airfix 1/8 BMW R-75/5. The monitor at the back is a second one so that I do not have to turn my head to the right when accessing reference material on my PC. Behind the monitor is a big window looking out onto the countryside. My airbrush compressor is under the bench:

To the right of my main bench is another bench where my PC is:

To the left of the main bench are more EBMA units and my spray booth:

Behind me I have lots of boxes with paints, decals, aftermarket bits and bobs and to the right are more shelves with modelling-related items:

All my modelling books have been relocated to my living room and bedroom.

You do John. I am currently working through a box set of Ally McBeal and am currently on season 4 of 5. I have had some Vonda Shepard albums for decades and still play them.

Maybe i'm going bonkers, but I can't see a monitor at the back?

The monitor is covered by a dust cover as it is very close to the spray booth. Of course, I remove the cover when I am viewing:
