Airfix B17G ‘ Pleasure Bent’
Just curious, as I have never built a B17, but its on my list... Apart from the 12 (at least I think I counted 12?) various mounted machine guns, eg: front, rear, sides, underneath, etc, did the B17 also have wing mounted machine guns? Cheers- pjgtech

Thanx peeps, as above, it is very, very small! So not sure the rust effect/detail actually shows up that well TBH, whereas on a larger model I think it would. But it was a good and useful experiment to maybe add something new to my modelling arsenal.- pjgtech

Tamiya Bulldozer - 1:48 - Small Dio/Vignette complete
Did a few final little tweaks... Added some more sand/dust pigment as it was a bit too "rocky" IMHO. Painted the edges black. Gave the whole thing a spray of scenery fixer to ensure everything sticks in place. Partially covered the old rusty wheel on the top of the pile, and gave it a dusting...- pjgtech

Think this one is now done, lovely little kit to make, very nice fit, easy to build, etc. I kept the little dio / vignette small and very basic. I also have deliberately not edged the base, as I think it has an agricultural / rural look. Pics...- pjgtech

And more progress.... Couple more top coats of differing shades of brown/beige/sand applied. Now to apply some texture, eg: fine sand/gravel, etc.... Painted up the accessories, they will also be "distressed" a bit more before final placement. Textures added and some pigments also added...- pjgtech

Little bit of progress on this one. Primed up the board last night. I think this one is now complete. What a lovely little 1:48 kit it was, very simple and easy to build, but some nice details. The last few things I did were a little panel line wash, then a light rust wash, then once it was all dry it got its final matt coat, driver in place. This was basically...- pjgtech
