    Its made by the same company who make MicroSol and Micro Set and apparantly works well with them. I bought some for use on my vintage Stuka but as it turned out I never had to use it . Check out one of the Youtube videos though, it does look very impressive.

    When you do one job on the model to try and tweak it and mess it up creating more work for yourself. Then you realise that your patience for the model is running out and you wished you had just left it as it was. Thats when its time to call it done and move on.

    That is a shame Chris. Did you purchase the PE as an extra or does it come with the model. I just thought that if it was an extra then you could just remove it and revert back to the standard plastic parts provided in the kit.

    I would certainly be tempted to have a go at a larger loco. As far as I am aware Airfix no longer manufacture any plastic kit locos. The OO stuff was discontinued in the 80s. OO gauge would always be a good seller as they can be a cheap and effective way to boost a OO gauge model railway. !/35...
