Stinky Glue and my solution (hopefully)
Although my go to glue is Tamiya Extra Thin, I have used this on a few builds with some good results. It might be worth a try as well as your fume extractor. (I don't suffer from cluster headaches but I am a life-long sufferer of daily headaches and regular migraines so I can sympathise)...- A_J_Rimmer

I've been working on this old (1982) Airfix kit of the F-104F Thunderchief. Not a great kit shape wise, but a bit of pure nostalgia for me - I remember building one as a kid. Airfix 1/72 Curtis Hawk 81-A-!
I finished this lovely little kit up over the weekend. It's a great build if you get a chance to do one (this is my second). Brush painted with a mix of Humbrol and Citadel acrylics. Cheers!- A_J_Rimmer

Fillet-less P-51D in 1/72

1/35 Rope and straps
Hi All, How do you guys emulate things like rope in 1/35? I'm thinking of stowage tie-downs and tow ropes etc.? I think I get how to make straps, maybe using metal foil, but ropes escape me. Cheers!- A_J_Rimmer

Monogram 1/48 P-47D Thunderbolt (SEAC)
Just to show that I do build aircraft as well (I'm actually primarily an aircraft modeller) - here's probably my best build of last year; Monograms old but good 1/48 P-47D.
