Well, here she is all finished. Its an old tooling and neither particularly well detailed or great in the fitting, but I am satisfied with how she turned out. The Zero paints and decals went on very nicely. Thanks Bob for suggesting the Group Build which gave me the motivation to dig this one...- Nicko

Well, that didn't go too badly. I do like the Zero paints. This was clear coated with X22 before I applied the decals, which went on very nicely although the stripes will need trimming in a couple of places.. The difference between what we have and what we had

So the next area for attention was the door cards. As they come these are pretty poor..... The filled holes are where the rubbery roll cage was meant to attach. Moving on to the engine bay, I opened up the end of the air intake which was solid.... I then went ahead and added some HT leads from copper wire with fine aluminium tube for the fittings. I also added a bit of detail to the oil filler cap... And I added a rudimentary coil onto the...- Nicko

ok, various things have kept me from posting for a while (mainly in my own head, I think), but now hopefully I can get back to being a bit more active once I become a bit more conversant with the new format. John has kindly amended my forum name with the changeover to the new platform - my old... -

Managed to make a bit of a start.... Rear body panel has been glued in place and reinforced with some sprue goo... These horrible ejector towers have been removed from the inner wheel arches... Much nicer... And these plus a couple of other parts have been fixed to the floorpan...- Nicko

What's on the Bench 2024
I've been tinkering with some spoked wheels. This is off an Italeri (Protar rebox) 1/9 scale Yamaha - first attempt and quite pleased with how its turned out.
