Chrome, off or on?
Like the other guys, I'm generally an advocate of strip the chrome with bleach and re-paint. Having said that, I recently built an F50 from Tamiya, the chrome on the wheels wasn't that bad so I just gave a light spray over with smoke and I think they came out OK, pic below has the original...- Mr Bowcat

Halftrack.... what!!!!... no figures!!!!!
Yep, did this on mu StuG III build and it worked very well. I used the inside core from picture wire which while fairly thin was still stiff enough to hold the sag. You might need to relieve the inner edge of the wheel to give the wire some space, but literally a couple of swipes with a file is...- Mr Bowcat

Cheers gents. :) I got most of the weathering done this weekend. This build is based on the Continuation War of July/August 1944, so I've kept it more dirty and dusty with dry mud. I might still give it a pigment scrub at the end, but I'll get the base done first so I can tie it all together...- Mr Bowcat

W&N Series 7 brushes
Morning all. :) I'm looking to get a couple of Series 7 brushes (probably a 0 and a 1) to help me get better at figures. However I notice that these come in a standard and miniature flavour, which appear to have a shorter tip. Which type do users of these brushes prefer? Thanks, B- Mr Bowcat

Hi guys, My goal for 2020 is to get better at painting figures. To date I have only painted a few figures that came with kits, mainly pilots and tank crews.
