Weathering - that's an art form in itself (that I am completely rubbish at and still learning). Still, you can do the basics - you can get all manner of weathering 'stuff' from mud to dust and rust pigments. If you have access to chalk pastels and oil-paints you can make you own. I wouldn't beat yourself up - I've been modelling for years and still balls-up clear parts. I doubt the ones in the Landrover are the best fit in the world anyway. Looks good so far - especially the paint. As far as glue goes, don't apply it straight from the yellow tube, dollop a bit on a scrap bit of cardboard or something, and apply with a cocktail stick. Also, what did you use to glue in the windows? A lot of people use a thin bead of white PVA glue...- Darian Frey

No worries - glad to help, and as I said, don't compare your work with others :) just your own last build and expectations. As far as the window goes - let it dry and then it should just scrape off with a light rubbing with a cocktail stick. In fact that's how I paint some cockpit canopies -...- Darian Frey
