They lied, for what reason I don't know, but maybe another shop, even if further away, would be a better recipient of your money. Parts were all test shots, and you can expect any marks to be polished out before the mould is finally put into production. Presumably they've seen the reviews of the latest kits, which all mentioned the "very gappy and usual poor fit," because I haven't. We had a shop, here in High Wycombe whose staff treated non-R/C customers with utter contempt (even turning their backs and carrying on a private conversation); it lasted less than two years.\ said:Not wanting to dash hopes but the owners of a local model shop said they got a very close look at the model and said it was very gappy and the usual poorish fit, they also said the sprues stuck on the wall had sanding marks where it looked like they'd cleaned it up.Apparently this has been mentioned on some other sites, I wouldn't know I don't frequent them.

I fully agree with this.\ said:They lied, for what reason I don't know, but maybe another shop, even if further away, would be a better recipient of your money. We old *****, who were around in the 70s, can remember that the conversation was always about what would be Airfix's next 1/24 kit, always in time for Christmas.

\ said:A thing that made my "LOL" was on another forum, people where complaining that it was to large and would rather of seen them make a 1/48 Vulcan.....DO THE MATH...I saw a 1/48 Vulcan at Telford.Thats a BIG kit.The chap who Built it told me it was part vacform and part resin. He also said it was very expensive.
Thanks for the "heads up" Al, but actually I am ahead on that one.\ said:PCM already do a 1/32 Tempest if you wanted something in a big scalehttp://www.hyperscale.com/2013/reviews/kits/pcm32016preview_1.htm
