Hi its been a while since i last visited this site, but I have been busy on commission builds, any way this client gave me permission to post what I have just built, I have posted on my web site a diary of the build from start to finish, enjoy

Very nice Mike.

Good to see you back and with a lovely spitfire.

Superb looking spit Mike , the extra details in the cockpit and engine look amazing, and the faded paint is perfect , cheers tony

I agree and I very much like all that detailing.

I've always liked the Mk VIII too.

Cheers

This looks awesome mate, excellent work. We have one of these in Aus that goes to some of the airshows. It has the same markings as your plane. Is truly amazing to see and you have captured it perfectly.

An outstanding build Mike, just one question did this version not have an aerial mast?

Mike that makes sense it's on the first 5 images I don't know how I missed it. Once again an outstanding build by the way which kit did you build it from?

Very Nice indeed Mike,

the weathering and details, I think they are awesome.

Cheers Richi

Superb model of my favourite mark of Spit - I have the Mk XVI in my stash just to be a bit different but I have contemplated getting the Mk VIII as well.......
