Trumpeter kit, quite nice detail out the box, I just added belts.

Paint is gloss black with alclad dark allu and airframe allu for tone.

Decals were not good, broke up allot butgot them down.

Ink pannel wash and some weathering on hindges ect. All sealed with alclad semi matt clear.

See how the light of sun and shade affects the alclad look.

Very nice, love the finish. The Alclad looks fantastic and you have a very realistic finish

Very nice work, especially with the alclad, really looks effective.

Superb job Theuns , the natural metal finish looks great and its nice to see a mig 19 , its so often overlooked yet was a very important aircraft. cheers tony

A job well done Theuns, I love the MIG 19 and it looks awesome with the alclad finish, I have recently purchased a couple of alclad colours. Have you any tips on using it through a airbrush or is it used fairly the same as a acrylic?

I spray at between 10-15 psi. Dont thin the alclad with anything.

Aply in thin coats and build it up, it becomes lighter the more you put on.

The surface mast be absolutely glass smooth.
