Moving along slowly, but moving. Got some more priming done tonight.

A PE box for the tools, still have to fiddle with tiny straps to hold them in as the box is mounted vertically on the side of the fuel tank.

The basic shape for the load from blue foam which is less messy when cutting and shaping, the finished job will be done with a coat of PVA to stick some gravel on.

Just catching up Andy, great all round work.
Impressed that you managed to cut out those gear sticks being that thin and managed to get them to stick, along with the PE tray good for you.

Painted the tools and the PE box tonight, those locking tweezers are very handy for small parts.

Still have to form some PE straps to hold them in.
I spent ages getting the windows to fit the doors as the difference between getting the windows to fit the frame and them falling through the hole would be about 2 rubs with the file, the doors are marked left and right because I was fed up picking up the wrong one.

I think it will take some time to get the cab assembled as there seems to be a few discrepancies in the mouldings making things hard to line up.

I got a 20 gram packet of gravel delivered today, ordered on Wednesday and here already from Ireland. Sadly I could not help myself and had to see how it looked.

That picture is the second try with it as the first attempt showed the load base to be too high so I modified the foam and I reckon it looks about right now.

Coming along well Andy. Tools look great and I like the addition of a load.

Andy. The updates are very convincing especially the load of gravel looks like it just got loaded off a river gravel bar

Thank you kind Sir.
Andy,
that looks the nuts mate.
Very nice of you to say so.

Cheers Andy, it would be rude to have an empty tipper.

You are too kind Lee, that gravel came all the way from Ireland.

Thank you all for your comments.

Still a bit of filling and sanding, windows to mask and then I can throw some paint at it.

Hi Andy
Coming on a treat. Blue foam as a base for the load is a good idea.

Mirror Models are like that but do make into nice models :tongue-out3:

I tried a bit of chipping and scuffing up the tipper but I think I may have to redo it as I am not happy with it right now.

I think I left the paint too long to get the best effect from it. I really must get some oils to play with, still, with a dust coat over the whole model it might look OK but then it will be too late to fix it.
