Yes back with this oldie, had it in my stash for some years. Has rubber band tracks, not that I shall be bothered.

Having opened the box a start has been made, no doubt my good friend Capt Bob will be on hand to advise where needed.

Cool, never built one of these, will follow along, to see how its done and always looking to pick up any tips for my own builds...cheers.
Looks interesting John

I'm in.

Off to a good start John, and none of that million-part track malarkey to deal with.
Hi all.well your all welcome .
Yes Andy, none of those things that give me nightmares 🙀

Evening, spent most of the day in the garden, but did manage to get this done tonight.

Not scraping those guide wheels, they'll be that covered in dust etc so why bother.

John
If you scape/sand them they'll be a little bit smaller so the tracks won't be so tight.
Pete

Great model John, don't bother too much over the tracks, the skirting will cover the top half
so track sag won't be a problem with the vinyl serpents as it is for most.
I myself have developed a system of sagation ( is that even a word?) With those pesky snakes
whether it be wrecks or T34s or KVs ...no problem.

Not thought of the Peter, damn now I'll have to do it 😱😄😂😂 thanks.

Well I did some sanding, then read Jims post, as the side skirts will hide the top set I've left it.
Morning John

Remember the tracks are sided, just copy the ones shown
Thanks Bob, will do . (y)

Afternoon plastic fiends.

Much has been done on the StuG, just wish at times the instructions were a little clearer as they were in certain sections confusing.

All tools will be painted off the model and placed after it has been painted. Also the side panels left off, far to much hidden to try and get paint on.

Tried to fill those injection marks, used Vallejo, not impressed one bit. Left it 12 hrs plus before sanding.

About to prime the whole lot.

Looking good John, bring on the wet stuff 😎
Cheers Andy , made some changes since the post.Primer tomorrow .
Hi Mate,
I was going to pull up a chair and your nearly finished. Nice work so far.
Hello Paul, get comfortable as the next part may take some time .
Looking good John. Vallejo acrylic plastic putty. I use it only in minor seams, using a moist cotton bud or finger to wipe it. I have never been able to sand it.
Arg, that's where I went wrong then Joe. Will try again using a cotton bud 👍

Looking good John. Paint will bring it to life nicely. Agree with Joe ref fillers. Acrylic fillers work well for cracks and seams, but laquer fillers, like Tamiya, are best for dents and divots. They bind into the plastic and sand to a feather edge.
