Please can anyone advise where or buy or who makes 1/35 wooden crates and tarpaulins. I want to add these to the back of my IBG models Bedford QL.

Thank you

Try Value Gear, great products and a few designed sets for various vehicles

Ooh, you built one of them? How was it? On my soft-skin wish list

FoG do the Valuegear range (if you'd rather use a UK supplier

Scott, Its not a bad kit but there are one or two fitting problems to overcome namely the cab front to back wall. I had to pack this out with plastic card.

It was detailled in one of the military model mags last summer and the same issue was reported then too.

Give it a whirl it is rather detailed but unfortunately most of it is hidden.

Cheers Scott

Try making them.

I was going to suggest that. I'm sure Ron would be the man to chip in. He made some very convincing looking boxes/crates for his Rorke's Drift dio and has a knack for things like this.

Cheers

In my Bedford, I cut blocks of polystyrene foam then covered them with tissue soaked in PVA glue.

I'm sure it's on here in the soft skin section....quite a while ago so you will need to dig a bit....

I would also lean towards making them. I would try coffee stirrers for the crates and unpatterned tissue paper brushed with diluted PVA for the tarps.
