opinions please, that’s a bit of ships ladder with alternate rungs removed, think it looks a bit clunky.

Yeah does a bit, guess you got none of the ship handrail left over.

Yes, have quite a bit but the gaps are way too large.
i think I will try it anyway on the other launch and pot it for comparison.

I think that’s about it as far as detailing goes, quite happy with their appearance.

This is as far as I am going with the ships launches. May add rudders.

next job is to improve these ‘blobs’. Going to use the Borodino build pics as reference again.

paintwork almost finished on launches now, just a bit of shading/weathering then ready to add to model. Bit of a conundrum, can’t decide whether
to add the funnel braces now or after the boats and launches are fitted to the boat deck, gonna be a pain either way.
also done some more work on the seascape.

Me too. That is a properly dirty filthy battleship. The day before he's sunk by the Japanese!

Running out of enthusiasm (and patience) with this build so decided on no more extra detailing, just finish the rigging and seascape and some touch up work. Then back onto my long term project (HMS Dreadnought 1907).
Will post some piccys of this when it comes out of storage.

Personally I think that’s a great build Graham. Very much out of the normal run of battleships that we see built. You have generated a superb model so please stick with it until it is completed.
