Well, I saw this in a shop and thought, it looks alright.IMG_3689.webp
I wasn’t expecting much from an old kit, but lucky me, I got a lot of free plastic.

Having had a bit ok a play with it, it seems locating pins are a suggestion, rather than an aid to location.
As you can see, a fully comprehensive decal sheet is included. And yes, that’s it for the instructions.

Whilst there isn’t many parts, clean up time is going to take a while.

However, there’s always room for a bit of improvement. There’s 24 exhaust ports to open up and tidy up.

There’s no cockpit at all, so this old RAF gunner will henceforth be known as Marco.
Marco, might be in for a colour change.
Right, it’s time for a bit more filing and scraping.

Bit of a rarity that, and, as with most Smer stuff, you've got a bit of work there. Nice detail on it too
But is it really 1/48 or, like their CR.42, 1/50?

Wish I still had my photos of the real beast at Vigna de Valle. Just have to make do with my Bancaero seaplane racers book

The Italians sure made pretty airplanes. Are you going to do the rigging?
