I completed this little 1/72 Italeri Bell 47.

The boom is a little "chunky" but in this scale it might be tricky to mold it thinner.

Nearly finished mine too. Did you have trouble getting the doors to fit?

I did not fit the doors, most of the 47's I have seem rarely have them on.

I'm thinking the same Theuns. I just don't like to be beaten by a mis-fitting part! Everything else on the kit seems to fit fine, although for some parts it was a little difficult to locate the correct place.

I did have a problem fitting the batterybox assembly behind the engine in the boom, as per plans it just doesnt fit untill I flipped it 180 deg as per the box art and it worked...go figure LOL

Very nicely made model and like your choice of colour.

You cant see it in the pix, that is humbrol dark metalic blue, I was pleased with how well it sprayed on.

U cant see it clearly in the pic but the rest is all silver. The blue I chose it because it matches my wife's blue eyes ....although heres are not metallic LOL
