I really couldn't justify the cost of brass stanchions delivered to NZ, so had to go with the PE, it will be a real learning curve, but I will do my best :smiling:HI Garry so you goin to use p/e for the flightdeck nettin well ive never used that as you say its a nightmare so i make my own nettin with steel or brass rod an aircraft alerons hinges an net curtain an when built its very strong an it will fold up or down but up to you on that good luck

Bravo Zulu? - a most under-used coding in the Andrew - normally reserved for us and our ilk , and frequently used if I may make so bold (as well you know!) However the build is most excellent!Well, I'm al caught up. (3 Hours). Well worth the time reading it all. Superb build. Excellent likeness. I can almost smell the grey paint!!!!
There was mention of a something about elephants ass or sonar unit. It is actually a towed array for long range detection of underwater contacts. Probably retro fitted during an upgrade dockyard refit. Which means whe deployed the vessel would be veeerrrrrry Sloooooow!
Digressing. Yup, agree with everyone. Brilliant job - more so considering you hadn't had a crack previously!! As they say in the RN. BZ (Bravo Zulu - well done!)
