this is looking great greg! what did you use for your trees?

Thanks for the comments, guys. Bobby, the trees are made from twigs found outside. The leaves are from those foliage bags that you can get on modelling sites, normally for around £3-4, stuck on with PVA. The bushes are the same, just with smaller twigs.

nice one! i wasnt sure about that foliage stuff you see in shops but it does look good in your photo's. i think i'll give it a try in a later project.

Quick update. I did some work on the figures, and have completed three of the seven paratroopers. I've also started on one of the Germans, and have painted his horse. I'll probably post pics of that next time, but here's a few close ups of the Brits for now.

Nice, neat painting Greg. It's all coming together nicely now and it looks as though the cleaning of the figure seams caused no problems. Very nice use of foliage too.
