discussion 1/72 Revell beaufighter TFX disaster

Currently building this kit and everything was going smoothly then disaster....

The Clear sprue with all the canopies has vanished or been eaten by the carpet monster.

Does anyone know of any after market ones i could get or where i could get a replacement sprue?

I've been there. Threw away the "empty" plastic bag that the kit came in, but the next day I couldn't find the canopy sprue. Luckily it wasn't bin day, and I salvaged the sprue from the bin.

I have heard that Revell are good at supplying spare bits, but it takes a while.

well i'll drop them an email and cross my fingers.

I wouldnt mind so much but i'd masked the main canopy and the kit was going together really well, i was close to tears :damn:

well its looking a bit "just out of the shop" or even "still in the shop" but at least its growing

Good progress Wayne, I'm glad your carpet monster gave the clear parts back. I have a wooden floor, but the crack monster seems to claim the occasional piece.
