discussion 3 OLD builds from the Seventies !

Have been going through some old photos and found pictures of Airfix? kits I made around 1976 ....
Pretty sure they were 1/24th - anybody got a better memory than me ? ( not great finishes , I know :rolling: )

Don’t know about the other two, but DW K is a decal set on both the current Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire 1a and the current Airfix 1/72 Spitfire 1a. According to scalemates they were issued on the 1/24 airfix spit as new decals in 2010......can’t find anything with them on the box around 1976, so I don’t know :tongue-out3:

If I was in the habit of betting, I’d put my money on there being a photo of a real Spitfire with those letters

Wouldn’t get good odds on that Jakko. 610 squadron, based at Biggin Hill during the Battle of Britain.....
