All done!
I'm not unhappy, except with the painting of his left eye, which is only slightly better than before I 'improved'it, but I don't dare have another go.
I think it's a lovely sculpt, full of character, and I'm very glad he's finally finished after so many years!

The burning question is- will I use this for my Scots Greys vignette?
I'll have to see how I feel at the time, but I probably will.

Thanks for following and for the encouragement
cheers

Hi Neil, for a moment I was looking for the corn field...so it's rye. Bloody good. The raffia has given me a good idea to simulate saw grass which is a pest here. Looks nice on hill slopes but murder to walk through. I'll have to look for the organic natural raffia as raffia is sold here as plastic raffia.

Your vignette really looks good.

Cheers,
Richard

Thank you all for the positive comments! It's very nice to have such comments from fellow people who know what they are looking at.

I quite like this idea of actually finishing projects!- you never know,I might even finish the 95th rifleman eventually-although hopefully in less than 40 years!
cheers
Neil
