do any of you pro's know how to make a good but not amazing diorama without spending alot of money?. my diorama i want to build would involve 1/35 kits including german machine gun troops, rusian infantry and mabey german frontline infantry. ive looked on the internet and all diorama acessories seem to be worth quite alot of money.

here is the link to my kits ive made

hi and welcome to the forum. If you want to make dioramas without spending a packet then you have definitely come to the right place!!!Just check out work done by my esteemed colleagues SPANNER 570 , CENTURION 5RTR , NOBLE ,DUBSTER , SAT NAV1313 and maybe a few more ive forgotten (sorry guys !!) These guys are the masters of dios usually not costing a fortune to make, being largely made from everyday materials rather than entirely bought items.Another place to look is the unconventional materials thread in the tips section . Search out the work by these guys (in the tanks section of automobiles section) itll be inspirational i guarantee it! (in fact they inspired me to do some armour and i usually make planes !!) hope this helps and happy modelling cheers tony

Can I add my welcome 50.cal?

My mate Tony has said it all, really. Regarding the price of accessories, I don't buy anything (apart from the models!) but go and root in the garden. there you will find all you need for any scale vegetation, trees and rocks.

Building can be made from thin polystyrene sheet......The list goes on..

To quote Yakface again, just post your queries and we will all try and answer.

The main thing is to enjoy and have fun...We all do!

Ron

sorry to go a bit sideways but ,ron, ive just been looking for the unconventional materials thread and i cant find it,any idea where its gone or who we report it to? (maybe the aftermarket accessories makers have kiboshed it, we're putting them out of business!!) tony
