Hi all,

Completed this little one last week as some simple fun between bigger projects.

Revell’s micro wings are a bit old and the many use of the molds were visible on this kit with lots of flash and bad fitting parts.
Still with patience and enough putty all can be solved, made an antenna , modified for wheels up and replaced the guns with 0.3mm brass tube as the kits guns broke off and were too big anyway:smiling:.
Painted in Vallejo model air.

Kit only costed me twice the reference coin:nerd:.

Great for a quick mojo refresher aren’t they Fernando . You can fit them in between other builds easily as they don’t take too much time . The Jug looks great , little touches like replacing the oversize guns and fitting an aerial really make a difference on these tiny kits , great work , cheers tony

I salute anyone building 1:44. Crazy scale.....

I remember when Revell first started doing these little kits back in the 70s. They were 12p each!

Cheers,
Nick

Very nice Fernando.

I was at the opening ceremony for the American Air Museum at Duxford (working unfortunately) but I'll never forget the sound of the screaming pistons as two to P47s a and P51 flew over. You could feel it in your chest.

Still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, and I worked around Aircraft with the 3350 engines in them for years!

Thanks for the kind comments guys, appreciated :thumb2: :thumb2: .

Tony, agree and they offer a bit of room to experiment with scratch building:smiling:.

Colin, small fingers help:tongue-out3:

Peter, sadly haven’t seen a Jug in the flesh till now but a Corsair and a Trojan together make an impressive display too, thanks to Red Bull at Texel:smiling4:

Rick, I have the same at each airshow hearing these beauty’s tearing through the sky:cool:
